Step 1: Pre-Installation
- Pack the following equipment to use onsite:
- Wireless Keyboard & Mouse (with a single USB receiver)
OR,
Wired Keyboard - Screwdriver
- Wireless Keyboard & Mouse (with a single USB receiver)
- Power & Network Connection - Important:
- Wiring - If electrical and/or network wiring is required, please contact your preferred, registered electrician.
- Power - Ideally, the screen will be mounted over or near the power point. Please organise capping if running an extension cord to the nearest power outlet.
- Network
We highly recommend using a fixed/wired network connection.- For WIFI
- Use a connection with a signal strength of 60% or more
- If the wireless connection has a browser prompt, please ask the IT team to remove the prompt
- Whitelisting
- Vibe Cloud - Allow port 443 & contact our support team to confirm the server IP address or URL
- LG SoC Displays only
- For LG Firmware updates, allow http://signup.lge.com
- Internet Uptime check for Vibe WebOS – www.google.com
- Internet Uptime check for LG Screen – 13.124.59.106 and 13.124.135.79 (http://lgtvonline.lge.com)
- For WIFI
Step 2: On-site Installation
- Mount Screen
Position the screen in the best viewable area and ensure that the screen covers the power outlets. Make sure the screen is not alongside a window with direct sunlight or is in a location that will get direct sunlight. If you have any concerns, please contact our support team. - Locate the Digital Signage app or Vibe Browser app for your large format display or device
Before you leave the site
- Ensure that cables are hidden (using capping or tucked behind the screen)
- Take high-res photos of the finish mounted screen to provide us for our records
- Wide view to clearly show your wonderful installation of the screen in its location
- Screen close-ups. Front-on and from an angle
- Make sure the screen is turned on and showing digital signage content onscreen
- No people in the photos
- Leave the screen on
- Leave the remote control with the primary onsite contact. Do not leave with the TV as staff may turn the screen off.
- Remove or take any packaging with you
- Notify the our project manager or contact our support team to advise that the screen setup is complete
