Background Images

Vibe Templates are linked to a pool of background images associated with your Theme, which are applied to all slides by default. However, since all slides are customizable, you can individually adjust the background by uploading a custom image for each slide.

  • If the Background field toggle is 'on', the slide will display a random image from the Theme Backgrounds each time it appears onscreen.
  • If the Background field toggle is 'off' you can select or upload an image from the image manager, and images in the Theme will not be used.

Design Requirements

Visual Ideas

  • You can provide any number of images, though a suggestion of 5 to 10 images is ideal.
  • Image content could suit a wide range of slide content, including:
    • Location shots, such as exterior and interior building photos.
    • Workplace or product shots relevant to your brand.
    • Seasonal imagery that can be updated throughout the year.
    • Textures that align with your organization’s brand and aesthetic.
    • Minimal detail is often preferable. Avoid overly complex or high-contrast images that might distract from your content.

File Size

  • Standard Landscape: 1920px (W) x 1080px (H)
  • Standard Portrait: 1080px (W) x 1920px (H)
  • Square Images (for both landscape and portrait): 1920px (W) x 1920px (H)

File Formats

  • Preferred: JPG (compressed for optimization)
  • Other accepted formats: PNG, GIF

Tips

  • Avoid logos on background images—use the Logo Image field for brand logos instead.
  • You can create multiple location-specific themes to tailor your background imagery for different settings. (Check your Vibe Plan)
  • For easy access, set up a "Backgrounds" folder for your team to manage and upload images as needed.

Upload your files

  1. Login to the Admin console
  2. Navigate to Digital Signage > Settings > Themes
  3. Use the Background fields to select your preferred images
  4. Preview a slide to see the changes applied
