WP400+ Device Troubleshooting

WP400+ Device Troubleshooting

For when the screen isn't displaying Vibe content:

  1. Check power is on
Make sure both the WP400+ box and the TV are powered on. Look for power indicator lights on both devices.

  2. Confirm correct HDMI connection

    • The HDMI cable should be plugged into the HDMI OUT port on the WP400+ box.

    • The other end should be plugged into the HDMI 1 port on the TV (unless you're using a different port intentionally — just make sure you match the input selection on the TV).

  3. Verify HDMI cable functionality

    • If there’s still no display, try using a different HDMI cable to rule out a faulty one.

    • Avoid long or low-quality HDMI cables that can cause signal issues.

  4. Double-check TV input source

    • Using the TV’s original remote, switch to HDMI 1 (or the port your device is connected to).

    • If you're using a universal remote (e.g., LG Magic Remote), you may be controlling the WP400+ box by default — make sure you switch the remote control mode to operate the TV.

  5. Launch the Vibe app manually

    • If the screen shows the Android home interface instead of Vibe, press the Home button on the WP400+ remote.

    • Use the directional pad to locate and launch the Vibe app manually.

  6. Reboot both devices

    • Power off the WP400+ and the TV. Wait 10 seconds, then turn them back on.

    • Sometimes a simple restart resolves connection or display issues.

  7. Check for firmware or app updates (optional advanced step)

    • If issues persist, open the Settings on the WP400+ device and check for system or Vibe app updates (requires network access).

    • This is best done by an administrator or with Vibe support guidance.

  8. Still not working?

    • Contact the Vibe Support team or your IT administrator for help.

    • Let them know what steps you’ve already tried from this list.
