How To - Perform a Factory Reset
If the support team have suggested that a factory reset is required on your supported LG digital signage display, please locate your screen below and follow the steps:
WebOS v2.0 (SM5KB series) / WebOS v3.0 (SM5KC series)
- Press and hold the Settings button until a white bubble appears on the top right corner
- Press 0 0 0 0 then OK
- On Signage Setup, scroll down to Factory Reset options
- Select Factory Reset, Confirm and press OK
- Reinstall the Vibe.fyi player
WebOS v3.2 / WebOS 3+ (SM5KD series)
- Press the Settings button, and go to Admin
- Toggle the switch from OFF to ON
- Enter the Pincode 0 0 0 0
- Click Factory Reset
- Click Confirm. The TV will reset and power off.
- Turn the monitor back on. Run through the LG Wizard, and prepare the TV again.
- Reinstall the Vibe.fyi player
WebOS v4.0 (SM5KE series)
- Press the Settings button, and go to Admin
- Toggle the switch from OFF to ON
- Enter the Pincode 0 0 0 0 0
- Click Factory Reset
- Click Confirm. The TV will reset and power off.
- Turn the monitor back on. Run through the LG Wizard, and prepare the TV again.
- Reinstall the Vibe.fyi player
