Convert Files to Image Slides

Make sure you already completed the SharePoint authentication


  1. In the Vibe Admin Console, go to Add-On Modules > SharePoint API > Settings.
  2. Under the SHAREPOINT FOLDERS tab:
    1. Click [+ NEW FOLDER]
    2. Enter the SharePoint folder URL* in the URL field
      The correct way to enter the SharePoint Folder URL is:
      1. Open the folder in SharePoint
      2. Copy the URL in the browser address bar
      3. Remove all other parameters after 'Folder name before pasting into the URL field
        e.g. https://<domainname>.sharepoint.com/sites/<sitename>/shared%20documents/Forms/AllItems.aspx?id=<folderid>
    3. Select Convert Files to Images as the processing type
    4. Click [Save]
IMPORTANT - Conversion Notes:
  1. When you save your changes, a message will appear:
    "When you link this folder, any PDF or PowerPoint files it contains will be automatically converted into JPG images.
    Please ensure the folder only contains files you want converted into slides. Every time you update the files it will count as one conversation.
    You receive 5 free conversions per month by default. To increase your allowance, please contact Vibe Support."
  2. A file conversion is triggered when a PowerPoint or PDF file is added or modified in the linked SharePoint folder.
  3. Multi-page documents are supported - Each page will be converted into a separate JPG slide list item.
  4. By default, you will receive 5 included file conversions per month. To increase your monthly conversion limit, please contact your Vibe Support team to discuss your options.
  5. When the monthly limit is reached, an email alert is sent to the address entered in the Email Notification field.

Create Vibe Slides

  1. Create or edit an existing Image Multi slide in your portal
  2. Set the Content Source to SharePoint (File to Images) and wait for the slide editor to refresh
  3. In the SharePoint File dropdown, select the PDF file or PowerPoint file that contains the data or content you want to display onscreen.
