Install: Intranet Embed

Embedding your company communications from Vibe, into an iframe within SharePoint can:
  1. Enhance Engagement: Employees are more likely to engage with content that is easily accessible. Embedding communications within SharePoint makes it convenient for employees to stay updated.
  2. Provide Analytics and Insights: SharePoint can provide analytics and insights into how employees interact with your embedded communication content.
  3. Increase Security: Easily add/remove access to your workplace digital signage channel as part of employee onboarding & offboarding processes

What you'll need

  1. Playlist - Share an existing playlist or setup a new playlist in your portal
  2. WebView licence - Contact your Vibe support team to discuss your options

SharePoint

Embed your WebView channel

  1. Follow these steps for adding the 'Embed' web part to SharePoint
    1. On your SharePoint page, make sure you're in Edit mode. If you're not, click Edit at the top right of the page.
    2. If you don't already have an Embed web part on your page:
      1. Hover your mouse above or below an existing web part or under the title region
      2. Click the red plus sign to add a modern web part to a page
      3. Select the Embed </> web part from the list
  2. When the web part is setup, use the following embed code to add your Vibe.fyi WebView URL to your SharePoint site:

Add your Vibe portal URL to the list of allowed sites

  1. Browse to the root site of your site collection
  2. Click the Settings cog icon, click Site Settings.
  3. On the Site settings page, under Site Collection Administration, click HTML Field Security.
  4. Select the Allow contributors to insert iframes only from the following domains option.
  5. In the Allow iframes from this domain box, enter your Vibe Portal’s domain name (for example businessname.vibe.fyi) , and click Add.
  6. Click OK to save the changes
