Quick Start for Content Creators

Creating great-looking digital signage in Vibe.fyi is fast, intuitive, and designed for everyday users—not designers. This Quick Start guide walks new content creators through the essential steps: choosing a template, adding content, adjusting slide timing, and publishing to playlists. Whether you're sharing updates, promoting events, or keeping teams informed, these fundamentals will help you build polished, on-brand slides with confidence.

Create a New Slide

  • Go to Slide Manager
  • Select Create New Slide (Blue Button)
  • Choose a template from the Template Library
    • Note: Templates define the layout and behaviour of your slide. Choose one that best matches the type of content you want to display.
    • Finding the right template
      • Use category filters
      • Use the search field
      • Hover over a template to watch the Template Tour and preview how content is displayed and animated
  • Name your slide
    • Give the slide a clear, descriptive name
    • Tip: This name is used in Your Slides and makes it easier to locate and manage later.

Add Content

  1. Select a Content Source
    1. In the slide editor, use the Content Source dropdown to select Web Portal or File Upload (Both are quick options)
  2. Edit content in the portal
    1. Use the built-in editor to add images and text fields directly
    2. Changes are saved automatically as you work

Always preview the slide after adding or uploading data to confirm formatting.



Adjust Design Attributes

  1. Open the Design tab in the slide editor
  2. Adjust the available fields within the Text, Elements and Themes tabs

Set Slide Duration and Scheduling

  1. All slides will start with a default duration, but you can set how long the slide is shown on screen (for example, 10-20 seconds) to reflect how long it takes to comfortably read the content
  2. Set a frequency and advanced schedule to control how often the slide appears and when it is active, use settings such as:
    1. Display Order
    2. Number of Items
    3. Advanced Schedule

Add to a Playlist

  1. Click 'Playlists' tab and toggle on where you want the slide to show.

Slides start playing automatically once they are added to a playlist — the default schedule is ‘Start and Play Forever’.
