Embedding your company communications into an iframe within SharePoint can:

  3. Increase Security: Easily add/remove access to your workplace digital signage channel as part of employee onboarding & offboarding processes

What you'll need

  1. Playlist - Share an existing playlist or setup a new playlist in your portal
  2. WebView licence & URL - Contact your Vibe support team

SharePoint

Embed your Vibe WebView channel

  1. Edit your SharePoint page

  2. Click the grey 'Add a new web part...' button
  3. Select the Embed </> web part

  4. Click Edit Properties or Add embed code to open the Embed web part editor

  5. Add your Vibe WebView URL to the embed code below and paste the code into the Website address or embed code box:

  6. Set the Resize to fit the page toggle to On
  7. Click Republish to save your changes and launch your channel

Troubleshooting

Error - Embedding content isn't allowed

To allow embedding from your Vibe WebView URL, please follow the steps below:
  1. Browse to the root site of your site collection
  2. Click Settings (cog icon)
  3. Click Site Settings
    TIP: If you don't see Site settings, click Site information, then click View all site settings
  4. On the Site settings page, under Site Collection Administration, click HTML Field Security
    1. Select Allow contributors to insert iframes only from the following domains
    2. Enter your Vibe Portal domain in the Allow iframes from this domain field
    3. Click Add
    4. Click OK
  5. When your changes are saved, retry the 'Embed your WebView channel' steps above.
