Design (Text | Elements | Themes)
Use this quick reference guide to discover all the ways you can customise your slide design and formatting settings to make your content stand out.
Text
In the Design > Text tab, tailor specific functions of the template to align with your brand styling.
Text formatting options may differ from template to template. Use your
Theme Manager to manage your default theme fonts and colours.
Elements
The Elements tab allows you to incorporate features and custom options that highlight each templates individuality. Image
- Fill & Cover - Images will be cropped to fill and cover the screen, regardless of the image size or ratio.
- Fit & Contain - Useful for images such as Logos, icons or graphics that contain text to fit within the screen ratio and size.
- Pan & Scroll - Automatically pan (landscape/square images) and scroll (portrait images). Useful for displaying non-uniform image ratios such as infographics.
Graphic
Add a Graphic background can help make your text stand out onscreen! When selecting the 'Graphic' layout, you'll see options to upload your graphic image and customise the animation/position as well as text alignment/margin.
PRO TIPS: 1) Want a copy of the default graphic image? Use the download button to save a copy for future use. 2) Use the Graphic design options in templates like
Image Gallery and
Poster (Pan & Scroll).
Themes
Ensure you have the necessary permissions to edit themes. Please ask your administrator for assistance.
- Use Location Theme - Uses the theme that is assigned to each location (see Admin Console / Theme Manager)
- Default theme - Uses the default theme for all locations
Logo
- Remove the logo image
- Download the logo image to the device you are working with
Background
- Toggle ON - When this toggle is on, Theme images will show in the background of the slide. NB: A different theme image will randomly show every hour.
- Toggle OFF - If the Background Image Pool toggle is off, use the available functions to
- select a background color
- upload a background image
Overlay
This function is an optional extra 'layer' of design. The Colour Field or Image Field will 'overlay the Background image pool or Background Colour. It is not a true watermark that appears 'over' all other content, it will appear in a layer between the background and the content.
- These fields are helpful to:
- select a colour, with or without opacity, to overlay the Background Images in your slide.
add a watermark effect over the background images. For example: designing a transparent PNG with simple white 'snowflakes' for Christmas will overlay all Theme images, without needing to redesign the original Theme Images.
