Events (Singles)

This Event template rotates through each event in date order. Its fullscreen layout is perfect for capturing the viewer’s full attention and highlighting the event details.

Content Source

Once you have created your slide using the Events (Singles) template, choose a content source to start adding your content:

Web Portal

  1. Select Web Portal from the Content Source dropdown
  2. Add an event
    1. Click [Add Content] to enter your event information using the content editor, then click [Save].
      OR,
    2. Optional: Drag-and-drop event image(s) into the Upload field.
    3. Repeat to add more events
  3. When you are ready to go live, add your slide to one or more playlists.

File Upload (XLSX)

  1. Select File Upload (XLSX) from the Content Source dropdown
  2. Download the Events (Singles) XLSX data template

  3. To manage events via the XLSX data template, use the available columns to key in the event details (one event per row).

  4. Save your changes and upload the saved XLSX file into the slide editor.

  5. When you are ready to go live, add your slide to one or more playlists.

Google Sheets

Follow the prerequisite steps to set up your integration and get started with Google Sheets seamlessly.
  1. Vibe Portal - Download the VIBE-DATA-TEMPLATE_EventSingles.xlsx

  2. Google Drive - Upload the the VIBE-DATA-TEMPLATE_EventSingles.xlsx to your connected Google Drive folder and add your data
  3. Vibe Portal - Choose Google Sheets in the Content Source dropdown and select your saved Google Spreadsheet

SharePoint (XSLX)

  1. Vibe Portal - Download the VIBE-DATA-TEMPLATE_EventSingles.xlsx

  2. SharePoint - Upload the the VIBE-DATA-TEMPLATE_EventSingles.xlsx to your connected SharePoint folder and  add your data
  3. Vibe Portal - In the slide editor, choose SharePoint (XLSX) in the Content Source dropdown and select your saved Excel file.

Design

  1. Time - Use the toggle to show or hide the event time.
  2. Slide Title - Select your preferred style and use the colour picker to set your slide title background.
  3. Shape - Use the colour picker to set your event background colour.

Use-Case Scenario

Launching Exciting Single‑Event Activities at the Office

A mid‑size company hosts a series of festive and team‑building moments throughout the year, but they commit to promoting one standout event at a time using the Events Single slide template. The events span team building, holiday celebrations, and social mixers. The communications team needs every employee at the main office to be aware of the upcoming occasion, its timing, and how to participate.

Using the slide template, they publish a dedicated Event Spotlight to all in‑office screens. The slide features a bold event title, a prominent date tile, and a concise agenda that highlights the main activities (e.g., icebreakers, activities, refreshments, or entertainment) and a clear time window is shown (e.g., 2:00–4:00 PM) so staff know when to join.

Because only one event is being communicated on this slide at a time, the message stays focused and sticks in staff memory. The same layout is reused for different events by swapping the title, date tile, time, and brief agenda, ensuring consistency across locations while keeping the content refreshingly fresh for each single‑event promotion.

Can the slide handle multiple day event?
Yes. The slide can handle multiple dates by displaying both the start and end dates of the event.
Can I set the slide to recur every year?
Yes you can set the slide to recur every year using the recurring date/time settings. This lets the same slide automatically reappear on the chosen annual date range (e.g., every year on Oct 1–Oct 2) without manual updates, ensuring ongoing awareness for annual events.
Can I change the location of the date on the slide?
Yes. You can change the date location. Just go to Elements tab and select the layout options.
