Step 1: Register as a Facebook Developer

These steps must be completed by your Facebook page or group administrator

1. Log in to https://developers.facebook.com/ on a desktop computer or laptop 
   
2. Register as a Facebook developer (3 easy steps)
   
1. Register - Click [Continue]
   
2. Contact Info - Click [Confirm Email]
   
3. About you - Select Developer and Click [Complete Registration]
   

Step 2: Provide your Facebook ID 

These steps must be completed by your Facebook page or group administrator

1. Open your personal profile page and copy the URL in the address bar (e.g. https://www.facebook.com/firstname.lastname)
   
2. Email the URL (or your Facebook ID) to support@vibe.fyi and we will invite you to become a Developer of the Facebook app that has been setup for your organisation
   

Step 3: Confirm App Invite

These steps must be completed by your Facebook page or group administrator

When we add you to the Facebook app, you'll receive a Facebook notification. Follow the steps below to accept the invite.

1. Log in to https://developers.facebook.com/ on a desktop computer or laptop
2. Check your notifications and click on the Pending App Request
   
   
3. Then, Accept the app invite
   
   
4. Notify support@vibe.fyi when this is done

Step 4: Authenticate your Facebook administrator account 

These steps must be completed by your social media administrator

1. Login to your Vibe portal
2. Open Social Media Mashup
   
3. Click [FB Authenticate] 
   
   
4. In the pop-up, login to Facebook
   
5. Click Continue as User 
   
   
6. You're all set
   
   

Step 5: Connect Instagram to Facebook (optional)

If you want to connect both Instagram and Facebook to your Social Media Mashup, follow the steps below:

1. Make the switch to a business account or profile
2. Connect your IG account to your Facebook business page
   

1. Facebook
   These steps must be completed by the administrator who completed the Facebook Developer steps above
1. Click [Authenticate]
2. In the pop-up, login to Facebook
3. Click Continue as User 
   
4. Click OK to complete the approval process 

The account must the administrator of the business page that they want to get posts from

If you update your Instagram or Facebook account (i.e. username or password), please re-authenticate your accounts to avoid any disruption to your social media mashup.
