Install Checklist

Step 1: Pre-Installation Checks

Equipment

  1. Wireless Keyboard & Mouse (with a single USB receiver)
    OR,
    Wired Keyboard
  2. Screwdriver

Power

Wiring

If electrical and/or network wiring is required, please contact your preferred, registered electrician.

Power

Ideally, the screen will be mounted over or near the power point. Please organise capping if running an extension cord to the nearest power outlet.

Network

  1. We highly recommend using a fixed/wired network connection.
  2. If you using a WIFI/wireless connection, we recommend a signal strength of 80% or more
    If the wireless connection has a browser prompt, please ask the IT team to remove the prompt.

Whitelisting 

  1. If you are restricting web traffic by IP address, you must add the following to your IP whitelist:
    1. Vibe Cloud - Allow port 443 for your unique Vibe portal domain name* and our CDN domain*
    2. Cloudflare Web Traffic - Add all Cloudflare IP addresses

  2. LG SoC Displays only
    1. For LG Firmware updates, allow http://signup.lge.com
    2. Internet Uptime check for Vibe WebOS – www.google.com
    3. Internet Uptime check for LG Screen – 13.124.59.106 and 13.124.135.79 (http://lgtvonline.lge.com)

Step 2: On-site Installation

Screen Position

  1. Position the screen in the best viewable area and ensure that the screen covers the power outlets.
  2. Make sure the screen is not alongside a window with direct sunlight or is in a location that will get direct sunlight. If you have any concerns, please contact support@vibe.fyi for advice.

Step 3: Final checks

Before leaving the site: 
  1. Ensure that cables are hidden (using capping or tucked behind the screen)
  2. Take high-res photos of the finish mounted screen to provide us for our records
    1. Wide view to clearly show your wonderful installation of the screen in its location
    2. Screen close-ups. Front-on and from an angle
    3. Make sure the screen is turned on and showing digital signage content onscreen
    4. No people in the photos
  3. Confirm whether the screen should be left on or powered off
  4. Leave the remote control with the primary onsite contact. Do not leave with the TV as staff may turn the screen off.
  5. Remove or take any packaging with you
  6. Notify the Vibe.fyi support team that the install is complete (support@vibe.fyi) and send any photos
