Hardware Installation

Hardware Installation

Step 1: Pre-installation Setup

Make sure everything is ready before arriving on site.

Idea
You'll need a Keyboard! Plug-in either; a wireless or Keyboard & Mouse (with single USB receiver), or a USB Keyboard.

Power to the screen

  1. If electrical and/or network wiring is required, please contact your preferred, registered electrician.
  2. Ideally, the screen will be mounted over or near the power point. We suggest that you organize capping if running an extension cord to the nearest power outlet. Please refer to your hardware policy for your organisation.

Network Connection: Fixed or Wi-Fi?

  1. We highly recommend using a fixed/wired network connection.
  2. If you using a Wi-Fi/wireless connection, we recommend testing for a signal strength of 80% or more at the screens location.
Alert
If the wireless connection has a browser prompt, please ask your IT team to remove the prompt.
