The Video template is designed to the upload of MP4 format videos. We recommend using this template to share videos will continue to play if your network drops vs livestreams or feeds which rely on a constant network connnection.

Upload Video
Prep your video for upload:
- The Vibe.fyi Video template supports MP4 H.264 codec (constant framerate) files that are less than 1GB. If needed, use these steps to optimise your video.
- Remove any unsupported characters from your video filename before uploading and use alpha-numeric characters, hyphens and/or underscores only.

- Create a slide using the Video template
- In the Slide Editor, upload your video to the Video field using drag-and-drop OR selecting a supported MP4 format video from your local drive.
- When you are ready to go live, add your video slide to one or more playlists
Playing videos on repeat can be an ineffective way of communicating. We recommend using the advanced schedule or screen takeover to create a playback schedule.
Notes:
- By default any video audio will set to mute. Use the Mute Sound? dropdown to unmute the audio if needed.
- By default, the video duration is set to 0 (zero) and the video will automatically play for the full duration. To decrease or increase the duration, set the time in seconds.
Note :-
- If you only add portrait video and you choose a landscape screen to display it. The video will show as stretched and vice versa

- If you upload video with both orientation in this slide, the slide will auto recognize the screen orientation and show the appropriate video on the Screen
Video Optimisation
The Vibe.fyi video template supports MP4 H.264 codec (constant framerate) and videos that are less than 1GB.
If you experience video playback or download issues, you may need to compress your videos and remove the audio track.
Follow these steps if you do not have access to a video optimisation tool and you need to make changes to your video (including changing the format, removing audio or optimsing the video size):
- Go https://handbrake.fr* to download and install the Handbrake software
- To upload your video into Handbrake, select your video file from your local drive or use drag-and-drop
- Use the options in the Summary tab, to save the video as MP4 format and optimise the video file.
- Optional - Switch to the Audio tab and remove any audio from the video if it is not needed. This will reduce the overall file size.
- In the Video tab, set the Video Encoder to H.264 (x264) and select Constant Framerate
- In the Save As: field, set the location where your file should be saved and change the file extension from .m4v to .mp4
- Click Start Encode to convert your video
- Once converted, upload your video into your slide
