Advanced Schedule

Advanced Schedule

Get the timing right. Using Vibe's philosophy of drip feedingspaced repetition, and set & forget, you can deliver engaging content, reinforce key messages and let Vibe do the rest.
InfoEyes open! Slides start playing automatically once they are added to a playlist — the default schedule is ‘Start and Play Forever’. When you need more control, toggle on Vibe's Advanced Schedule — where you decide exactly when and how often your messaging appears.

Choose a Schedule Type

In the Slide Editor, go to the Attributes tab and toggle on Advanced Schedule — just make sure your content is ready to go first!

Schedule 1 – One-Time Dates

Use this option for events or announcements that happen on a specific date and time — perfect for high-priority or time-sensitive messages without the risk of accidental repeats.
Idea
Example: This slide will show twice on the same day for 2 hours each time. Breakfast time 7-9am and lunch time 11am-1pm.

Schedule 2 – Recurring Dates

Use this option to repeat your slide at set intervals — perfect for reinforcing messages over time through spaced repetition.
Idea
Example: This Information Bar will show on weekdays, all-day.

Content Scheduling Suggestions

Before scheduling, we recommend to make sure your content is pre-loaded and ready to go:
  1. Create a slide using Vibe's Dynamic Templates
  2. Preload clear Content and Messaging
  3. Explore combinations using Display Order and Number of Items to suit the purpose of the content.
Idea
Example: Preloaded internal communications content, with a Random Display Order and Number of Items limited to show one message each time the slide is seen on screen.

Drip Feeding

To space content over a specific period of time.
  1. Use Recurring Dates with a Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Yearly cadence and consider all-day or multiple times within a day.
  2. For admin clarity, set a Recurring Date Range that covers your intended campaign period.
Idea
Example: This slide will show on the 2nd Wednesday of every month, all day from October 22 2025 to October 22 2026.

Spaced Repetition

To alternate content across different days.
  1. Choose a Weekly cadence and select relevant Weekdays to suit.
  2. Assign specific Times each day, to show different content topics on different days.
  3. Consider a Monthly or Yearly pattern, to have a longer cadences for different content themes and purposes. Ideal for training programs, H&S reminders and cyber security policy.
Idea
Example: This slide will show on the 2nd Monday of every month, all day.

Set-and-Forget

To minimise management.
  1. Define a clear One-time Date or Recurring Date Range for the campaigns duration.
  2. Keep the schedule simple with one primary cadence (Daily or Weekly)
  3. Choose All Day for maximum visibility, or setup a few Start/End times if you want tighter control.
Idea
Example: This content will show from October 22 2025 to October 23 2025

Important Settings to Note

These are the most common sources of confusion.
Alert
Always verify whether you want All Day (no times) or specific Start/End Times.
Alert
Ensure the Recurring Date Range is turned on and has correct Start and End dates; otherwise, the recurrence may run longer or shorter than intended.
Alert
If you mix Specific Dates with Recurring Dates, remember that Specific Dates do not follow the Recurring Date Range rules.
Alert
Screen Takeover only becomes available when Advanced Scheduling is enabled. If you don’t see the takeover option, enable scheduling first.
