Remote Device Management (SoC)

Remote commands can be used to update your Vibe.fyi player app settings and a range of LG (WebOS) SoC, Samsung (Tizen) and Philips (Android) system settings
A Vibe admin login is required to perform the steps below. Remote commands cannot be sent to offline screens.

Device Manager

  1. Open Devices > Remote Management
  2. Locate your device and click the Edit icon

  3. In the Device Manager:
    1. Add a friendly name for your device
    2. Use the Run a command dropdown to view and send available commands to the Vibe.fyi player app or the device system settings

    3. Scroll to view Device and Vibe.fyi player app details on the right-hand side

      Picture system settings

      On/Off Timers

      View  screen on/off timer settings

      Other

      Technical information about the device including the model,  screen uptime and current Firmware version.

      Slide Logs

      View the latest 50 logs sent by the device.
      To access logs, contact support@vibe.fyi.

      Information Bar Logs

      View the information bar logs.

Cautionary notes
  1. Samsung models running a Tizen Legacy version have limited support for remote commands, e.g.

Remote Commands


Command
Description
Sync Slides
Force to sync the slides by sending this command. By default, the screen syncs based on the set minutes in your settings
Delete Files and Sync Slides

Delete all the stored files and redownload all the slides to your screen

Delete Files and Reboot the TV 

Update App from Remote Server

Updates the device to the latest released WebOS app

Update Settings

Updates the settings of the device.
- Domain Name
- Username & Password OR
- Auth Code
- Slide Syncs
- Infobar Syncs
- Disable the Information Bar
- Portrait Mode
- WiFi Network & Password

Reboot the TV

Forces a reboot of the device

 Update firmware Update firmware from a remote server

Turn the TV Off

Turns the TV off

Send a screenshot

Asks the device to send a screenshot. By default, the screen sends a screenshot to the server every 5 minutes

Output list of WiFi Networks 
Use Current Network Settings for Reconnections  
Turn Network Reconnection OFF 
Turn Network Reconnection ON  
Set Portrait Mode  
 Reset white balance
 Reset white balance to the original tv settings 
Set Landscape Mode  
 Update IPK URl and update app from   remote server
 This is to update the url for the app updating for vibe application.
Advanced debugging settings
TIP: For WebOS6+, send one setting update at a time and wait for the logs to show confirmation that the setting is active or inactive before sending the next command.

Add On Timer

Add an on timer to the screen. Please set Input Source to RGB (for LG TV's).
For Philips TVs, this setting will be Custom.

Add Off Timer

Add an off timer to the screen.
