- Take note of the unique auth code(s) and your site URL. You'll need this information during the installation
Step 2: Content & Playlist Setup
Screensaver & Web Browser
- Create your slides (content) using the dynamic Vibe.fyi templates
- Create your playlists, assign one or more locations and add your dynamic slides
- Video slides added to the Screensaver channel will automatically play in mute mode.
Lock Screen & Background Wallpaper
- Create static image slides using the Image (Single) template OR use the snapshot tool to create static versions of your dynamic content.
- Create your playlists, assign one or more locations and add your static image slides
- If multiple image slides are added to a Lock Screen playlist, the image will refresh every 2 minutes and the display will refresh each time the device is unlocked and relocked.
Screensaver: Device Power Settings
- Adjust the device's power settings to keep the Vibe.fyi Screensaver visible for extended periods when the PC is idle.
- TIP: Set the "Turn off the display" option to 30 or 60 minutes. This balances communication reach with energy efficiency.
Group Policy Deployment
- Configure a Group Policy to restrict user access to Screensaver, Lock Screen, and Background settings during deployment. This prevents users from altering these settings, ensuring uniformity and compliance with deployment standards.
